A default black-and-white QR code works, but it looks like every other QR code on the internet. Built for reliability, not just looks
QR codes only work if they scan. Before any style shipped on this page, we ran it through an automated decoder at multiple sizes, with and without a center logo or icon badge, to confirm it reads correctly — the same bar every code on FreeOnlineQR is held to. We intentionally reshaped a couple of decorative module shapes (like sharp diamonds) into a smoother rounded shape because the sharp version didn't clear that bar reliably; we'd rather ship fewer raw shapes that always work than more that sometimes don't.

We keep error-correction high whenever a logo or icon is present.
