Twitter Card Generator — frequently asked questions
1200×628 for a summary_large_image card, which gives a 1.91:1 ratio, and 400×400 for a plain summary card. Under 300×157 the large card silently downgrades to a small one. Keep the file under 5MB, and remember the image is cropped from the centre — anything important at the edges will be cut.
