Mortgage Calculator
Work out the monthly repayment on a mortgage, along with the two numbers that decide what deal you can get: the total interest over the term, and your loan-to-value ratio. LTV matters more than most people realise — lenders price in bands, so scraping under 90%, 85% or 75% can cut your rate more than haggling ever will.

Mortgage Calculator — frequently asked questions
LTV is the amount you borrow as a percentage of the property price. Lenders set rates in bands — typically 95%, 90%, 85%, 75% and 60% — so being just above a threshold can cost you noticeably more each month than being just below it.
