Receipt Generator
Make a receipt for money you have already been paid, and download it as a PDF. A receipt is not the same document as an invoice: an invoice asks for payment, a receipt confirms it arrived. This one records what was bought, what it cost, how it was paid and when — which is what a customer needs for their own books, and what you need if the payment is ever queried.

Receipt Generator — frequently asked questions
An invoice is a request for payment, issued before the money arrives. A receipt is proof that it did. Businesses often need both for the same sale: the invoice goes out first, the receipt confirms settlement. Sending a receipt when you meant to invoice is a common and awkward mistake, because it tells the customer they have already paid.
